The Wowza Media Serve Pro from Wowza Media Systems is a Java-based interactive Flash streaming server which provides a scalable and highly efficient platform for live and on-demand Flash FLV and H.264 video content streaming. Interactive services like chat or remote recording are supported as well.

Additionally, Wowza Media Server Pro can stream MP3/M4A audio for playback by Flash player client. With Wowza Pro true Flash streaming your content is never downloaded to the client computer, protecting it from being recorded and pirated.

Wowza Pro supports all variants of the Real-Time Messaging Protocols: RTMP, RTMPT, RTMPS, RTMPE and RTMPTE for full compatibility with Flash payer clients as well as the Real Time Protocols RTP, RTSP and MPEG-TS.
