You have the right to free information about your personal stored data and the purpose of storage as well as the right to correction and blocking/deletion of the data at any time.
Data collection when visiting our website
When visiting a user of our internet services, data is only written in a log file (error log) if it relates to a failed access (for example, invalid page view, missing file, etc.).
If such a case of error / failed access occurs, and only then, the following data is logged:
• Date and time of access
• Hostname/IP of the requesting computer / server
• Error message (for example: file does not exist)
• Page / file accessed
• Referrer URL (if transmitted)
The information from this error log file is used for administrative purposes only (for example, error eliminations, temp. firewall rules) and is automatically deleted after 14 days at the latest.
The data from the error log cannot be assigned to specific persons. Any other use of the data collected when visiting our websites or the disclosure of these data to third parties will not take place.
Storage of data during media playback
If the customer integrates a stream24 IFRAME (video / radio player, toolbox) into their website, certain data will be collected when the media is accessed and stored for statistical evaluation. The data acquisition also works with direct use of a stream URL as well as with linking via so-called player start files (.pls/.m3u/.asx).
In order to take into account the data protection requirements, the associated IP address is anonymized before the data records are stored in the database.
The following data is collected and processed:
• Date and time of call up / exit
• Dwell time (duration of view / duration of listening)
• Media information (which video or radio program was consumed)
• Hostname/IP and UserAgent
• Referrer URL (if transmitted)
The information cannot be assigned to specific persons. They are stored exclusively for statistical purposes, processed and evaluated anonymously and deleted according to specified deadlines.
This means: The IP addresses are encrypted irreversibly (SHA1 hash from IP & salt value) and then cumulated / aggregated to show for example the sum of all the different IPs of a day (as a bar chart / table) or to map the percentage distribution of media users by their geographical origin (for example as pie chart / table).
A merging of this data with other data sources is not undertaken by stream24. The collected data is not used in any other manner.
Cookies are small text files that are stored by the browser on your computer. They do not damage your computer, nor do they contain viruses. You can prevent cookies from being stored on your computer by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; however, the functionality of our services could be restricted as a result.
To log in to the customer area (login page), we use a so-called "session cookie", which has the default name "PHPSID" and is only valid for the duration of the session (length of your visit) and is then deleted.
Other cookies (_ga, _gat, _gtag, _gid, ga-disable) that come from Google services are referred to separately in the following sections.
Google Analytics web analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc, (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). The use includes the "Universal Analytics" operating mode. This facilitates the assignment of data, sessions and interactions across several devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus the analysis of a user's activities across devices.
Opt-out cookies prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. To prevent Universal Analytics from collecting data across several devices, you must opt-out on all systems used. If you click here, the opt-out cookie will be set: Disable Google Analytics.
Use of Google webfonts
In order to display our contents correctly and in a graphically appealing manner across all browsers, we use font libraries from Google Webfonts on this site. Google Web Fonts are loaded into your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow access, content will be displayed in a default font.
Calling these external libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator. The data protection guidelines of Google, the library operator, can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
Google AdWords & conversion tracking
To measure the success of our Google AdWords campaigns, we use the conversion tracking process by Google. If you access our website via a Google advert, a cookie is placed by Google which logs the process for statistical purposes.
More information on this technology of Google can be found in https://policies.google.com/technologies?hl=en.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this - for example via browser settings that generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies or set your browser so that cookies by the "googleleadservices.com" domain are blocked.
Please note that you should not delete the Opt-Out cookies (ga-disable-UA) as long as you do not wish measurement data to be recorded via Google Analytics. If you have deleted all your cookies in your browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.
